Slogan Entry Form

Leave This Blank:

Quiz…where is “Music City”? How about the “City of Live Mermaids”? Of course it is Nashville and Weeki Wachee. Everyone knows “What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas!” Slogans and nicknames are an excellent way to build community unity and promote civic pride.

We are looking for a slogan to exhibit to both our residents and visitors just how special our community is! But attaching a catchy slogan to a community doesn't work unless it captures something real, authentic, and evocative. It can't just be a cute catch-phrase; it needs to reflect something unique or special to what Highland Beach has to offer.

That’s where you come in. We are looking for ideas of a unique slogan or nickname for the Town of Highland Beach. Entries should be no more than one sentence, preferably only a few words that could possibly be included as a part of the Town Logo or other Town materials.

Ideas should be submitted by Highland Beach residents only who are at least 18 years of age and must be original (Not trademarked, or used by another community in Florida).

The winning slogan will be selected by the Town and the individual will receive a commemorative award and recognition in the Town’s Newsletter.

Rules: All entries should be received by July 31, 2012. By submitting an entry, each submitter agrees to allow the Town of Highland Beach to use the submitter’s name and any written slogan, words or images submitted. The Town may or may not publish the submitter’s work in any media for any use. Each submission to the Town certifies that the submitter is of legal age; has granted permission to the Town to use the submission with unfettered rights and for no remuneration; and, that the submitter agrees to be legally bound by the foregoing rules.
