The Highland Beach library houses:
- Over 35,000 volumes of books
- Over 3,000 DVDs
- 800 audio books
- Many magazines and newspapers
- 2,500 books and videos in the children's collection
The Highland Beach Library is staffed by three full-time and four part-time employees, as well as 15 volunteers.
The Library offers its patrons many resources including Internet access.

- Access to the Library catalog through the Town's website
- Speakers program this year featuring 10 Florida (New York Times) best-selling authors
